Dr. Nebojsa Bacanin is a Full Professor, Vice‑Rector for Scientific Research and Head of Applied Artificial Intelligence study program at Singidunum University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Belgrade. His research interests include artificial intelligence, swarm intelligence, machine learning, optimization algorithms, soft computing, image processing, and distributed computing. He has published more than 550 scientific papers, including over 250 SCI‑indexed journal articles, with an h‑index of 73 according to Google Scholar, and serves as Associate Editor, Guest Editor, and Editorial Board Member for multiple international journals. He has also been recognized among Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists in Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, according to the AD Scientific list, he is listed as the best computer scientist in Serbia.
