Hongya Cave

Hongya Cave is the iconic landmark of Chongqing. Built along cliffs beside the Jialing River, it features traditional stilt houses stacked in 11 layers, fully presenting the unique Bayu architectural style. By day, visitors can enjoy panoramic river views and layered mountain city lanes. At night, the whole complex glimmers with golden lights, just like the fairyland in Spirited Away. It is the best spot to admire Chongqing's night view, with numerous local snacks such as hot pot, noodles and fried sesame twists for visitors to taste.
